Whirlwind spell

A Whirlwind Spell is a powerful incantation that conjures a contained cyclone of wind.

Merlin used such a spell – with the incantation "Cume þoden" (I summon the wind) – to drive off Kanen's force of brigands during the Battle of Ealdor. (The Moment of Truth)

Merlin used other two spells that involve the element of wind: one to defeat the Afanc (The Mark of Nimueh, "Lyft is þe in bǽlwielm ac forhienan se wiðere") and one to summon the mist (The Nightmare Begins, "Bene læg gesweorc").
