So we all pretty much think that Arthur is going to return magic and reunite Albion and live happily ever after. However, am I the only one who feels that whatever happens Arthur still wouldn't full-heartedly return magic?
Think about all the bad things that have happen to Camelot and Arthur has witnessed because of Magic. Just think of all the magical enemies from Mary Collins, Valiant's Shield (Ewain killed), Afanc (Killed many people), Cockatrice, Griffin (Killed many), Edwin Muirden, Sidhe, Tauren (Caused Tom's death), Questing Beast, Nimueh (Sort of caused Ygraine's death), Cornelius Sigan, Troll Catrina, Morgause, Trickler, Kilgharrah (Killed Many), Alvarr, etc.
(That was only 2 series!)
Also his mother dies due to magic and later Dragoon the Great/Morgana kill Uther. So he has lost both his parents due to this.
Magic also kills Lancelot and Elyan!
Think about it! If you were in Arthur's shoes would you allow something that has caused you so much pain of losing both your parents and many good friends return to your kingdom?
And so what if Merlin show's him the light, he won't honestly trust it!
