Hi everyone , for my first blog and in response to most peoples dissapointment with the finale. I was thinking that one good thing was when we got to see merlin kick some butt and show just how powerful he was when he stopped the battle at camlan.Just concentrating on this fact and not everything else. Should merlin of appeared as his young self and not as the old man.Especially the way the story went, what was the point it would of been much more EPIC if he did this; then the secret would be out to EVERYONE and we could see everyones reactions and they could still run with what they did. I mean I could deal with arthur dieing but then it was just missing so much in the story and to kill Gwaine like that was just pathetic I really wanted a merlin/Gwaine reveal. The only thing making the finale even remotely acceptable is there was a reveal at all and that colin and bradley's performances were fantastic. any way as I said there is no point to merlin hiding behind his old man mask with how the show ended because he will have no reason to go back to camelot with morgana gone and arthur no longer there. He has no destiny and he has no purpose or any friends left really at all, what would be the point so my question is:
Do you think merlin should of appeared as himself and not dragoon?
