Ok so me and my friend were talking today about Merlin and he made some off handed comment about Morgana having a mental breakdown this season and it got me thinking, what if...
I mean didn't one of the producers or creators say she was like a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off or somthing along those lines. Then there's the conversation with Queen Annis about it being her right to rule (and this my just be me) where she sounded like she was trying to convince herself as much as the Queen, everytime Gwen becoing queen came up, not to mention how frantic she becomes everytime Emrys appers.
So what do you guy's think. Me think it could work, I know there are a few people who would like Morgana to step aside as the main villian after Series 5 (if the show continues) so new villians could begin to apper. If she had a mental breakdown this would allow that to happin but also keep her in the show and alive. It could also be seen as symbolism between her and Uther since she is/has become very much like him.
