Writers and producers, what did you want ?

The time of anger and resentment have come to pass ; at least, I hope so. Everything has been said about the huge failure of the finale and, at last, of the series 5, if not of the whole show. Let's try switching the point of view, let's give some credit to the writers and the producers and ask ourselves :  "What did they want to achieve ?" For me it's not possible to think that they were simply unimaginative, simple-minded, poor writers. They DID want to achieve something, they surely had a purpose, but what was it ? We have, I think, enough matter to think from their point of view. I've got some theory then and I'm going to put them in form, but I'm sure that you, guys, have some theory as well. I'm curious to read them and I promise to give mine when it will be in a decent shape.
