What are these writers doing here? I just watched the preview for episode 5x04, and I'm a little confused on how they are setting up Mithian in this storyline. The leaks were saying Morgana was forcing Mithian to go to Arthur for help when she and her father King Rodor were overthown by Odin (and no doubt Morgana). Why are they virtually having Mithian crying, or really pleading "you're the only one I can turn to, Arthur"? Mithian is heiress apparent to the throne of Nemeth. (I'm presuming this because I haven't heard about Rodor having sons.) She would be trained to rule, and that means knowing how to deal with acts of agression to the kingdom. That also includes how best to approach other sovereigns to elict aid. To have Mithian go begging to her ex...and the woman he dumped her for...and looking like she's on the verge of tears is, to me, unbecoming a woman who was raised to wear the crown. She looks like a damsel in distress who needs the knight in shining armor to rescue her and her father. To be fair, she may be approaching Arthur this way to gain his sympathy and support, but I still think she could have conducted herself differently. I hope the preview is misleading, that Mithian is playing along with Morgana to buy time and actually planning strategy and engaging in combat to take back the throne.
