Hello merlin wiki fans,
I was going through and watching some of the episodes again and I was deciding on my favorite episodes of each series and then decided to pick my favorite overall. And I was curious as of which were your favorites?
My favorite episode for season 1 is the very first one because you get to see all the characters for the very first time and how they are beginning to develop. Season 2, my favorite episode is The Once and Future Queen because its the beginning of Arthur and Gwen's relationship. The Queen of Hearts is my Season 3 favorite because of Uther finding out about Arthur and Gwen's love and also I enjoy watching forbidden love stories. :) I also like the Goblins Gold because of how funny it is. My favorite Season 4 episode is A Servant of Two Masters because I like all the humor in it. Merlin trying to kill Arthur is hilarious Season 5 is With All My Heart because of all that Arthur and Merlin go through to Restore Gwen is so sweet. Plus the adventure in that episode is amazing.
So my overall all time favorite episode is the Queen of Hearts because of how well the actors play their roles. Arthur and Gwen have such passion between each other it makes me feel like love is really the most powerful magic of all. Bradley and Angel make playing Arthur and Gwen look so easy. Also Katy and Anthony's twist in the story helps make the love believable because they are trying to separate Arthur and Gwen. After all in Uthers mind how can a prince love a serving girl? And what Morgana does in the episode brings out the evil side in her and shows the viewers that she will do anything for the throne of Camelot.
