Whenever I watch the episodes of Merlin, especially the ones in Series 4 I have spotted some lines/quotes which some of the characters say which really either have no point or just make the characters look stupid. Here are some examples below:
1) "Not even Emrys can save you now", Morgana to Arthur in The Sword in the Stone: Part 2, in my opinion the most irrelivant quote in the show, I didn't like how Arthur didn't even bother questioning her when she said that, he had that chance to learn about that mysterious sorcerer. Also why did Morgana say that, if Arthur knew nothing about Emrys.
2) Morgana's repeated "NOOOOOO" in The Coming of Arthur: Part 2, The first and last "No's" were fine but the ones in between were a bit stupid (although she could have been saying that to bring the ceiling crashing down), would a person really say no repeatedly non stop if someone wasn't dead (Morgause was still alive anyway, Series 4 proved that).
3) "So Emrys, it seems you will not be my doom after all" Morgana to Merlin in A Servant of Two Masters, another irrelivant quote because Merlin didn't respond to that at all, he had that one chance to learn of his other destiny, but instead, it was rendered pointless.
4) "you condemmed my sister to a slow and painful death" Morgana to Merlin in A Servant of Two Masters, although this line was there to show that Morgana knew that Merlin was the reason why Morgause got injured, it was also stupid because if Morgana was still oblivious to Merlin's magic, how did she imagine Merlin doing it, with a boulder or a stick, no answer for that.
5) And finally "you're a loyal friend Merlin" Arthur to Merlin in The Wicked Day, it was good to see that Arthur finally accepted that merlin was his friend and not just his servant but I think it should have taken place in The Darkest Hour: Part 1 instead (where their friendship was explored the most) because The Wicked Day wasn't quite the right time because Merlin felt distant from Arthur due to his guilt of causing Uther's death.
