Hello everyone and thank you for clicking on my blog post. This doesn't have any new series 5 info or even discussing the series 5 info. I just have something I want to point out that I feel should at least be mentioned. WARNING: MUSHINENSS AHEAD
We've all waited a long time for Series 5. And through that wait we've all formed a community of sorts and even though we hardly even know each other, and even though we probably will never meet each other face to face, I think it's safe to say that a least a few members on this wiki are actually good frends. We all respect one another and we value each other's opinion no matter how different it is to our own. I myself haven't been a member of this wiki for a very long time like some of you, but I can tell that there is a strong vibe of community that almost goes beyond just being members of a fandom. And that it absolutely awesome.
With the new series air date just a month away, I want to thank everyone for being consistantly on the wiki. We all threw in incredible discussions about series 4, and got new insight. I know a lot of us were disappointed with it, namely a few episodes and one particularly annoying uncle. But that's great because where else would we would voice our opinion? Where else would we go to discuss what we liked and what we didn't like on this awesome show. In a way the fact that we all come to this wiki and add pages and thousnads of pictures and even thefact that we complain about the show is one of the reasons it remains so popular! Without a wiki, people would stop watching Merlin because it wouldn't make sense anymore. But everyone here works together to ensure that every fan has a place to go if they're looking for information. Almost every fanfic writer will enventually come here for reference. It's even possible the screenwriters for the show come here to check their facts!
Anyway, what I'm basically trying to say is, because of the wiki community community, the wait before series 5 airs has probably been more fun than watching the show. So thank you everyone, this is the best wiki in the whole wide world of fandoms!
I'd like to thank Morganaforever too, for creating the Merlin Wiki Awards which have been a huge success not only just because of all the responses because of how it brought the users together (on a cyber level) at the end of our long wait for series 5. XD
