Princes of Camelot are male heirs to the throne of Camelot. As future rulers, they are deeply involved in state affairs and the running of the kingdom, and may also act as regent if the king is judged unfit to rule.
Duties[]
As Prince of Camelot, Arthur was deeply involved in running the kingdom. He attended trials, audiences, and council meetings, and was often tasked with overseeing or even personally carrying out the king's orders.
Arthur was also given command of the Knights of Camelot. He was primarily responsible for overseeing their training and leading them in battle, but was also involved in more ordinary tasks such as arresting criminals or conducting searches (The Mark of Nimueh, To Kill the King, Beauty and the Beast).
