King Olaf is the ruler of one of the Five Kingdoms and the caring and over-protective father of Lady Vivian. Vivian noted Arthur that her father once attacked one of her former lovers with a knife.
Biography
He and his daughter visit Camelot as part of peace talks with the rulers of the Five Kingdoms. Arthur and Vivian are enchanted by Trickler in a plot by King Alined, to fall in love with each other. When Olaf finds out about their relationship, he becomes furious and challenges the prince to a duel to the death and demands recompense. Arthur eventually wins, but spares Olaf, saying that this isn't the way to make peace. Olaf then forgives Arthur and leaves, along with his daughter, to return back to his kingdom (Sweet Dreams).

- Olaf in the legend reigned Norway, so his kingdom could possibly be located there, which means he could be a Viking. To support this, he shows Viking qualities like his skill with Viking weaponry.
In the Legend
In the legend, Olaf was the king of Norway from 995 to 1000. He was known as of now, a viking. Before Olaf became king he fought for many armies, before he eventually was discovered to be the heir to the throne of Norway. During his reign he had many wives, before he died in the Battle of Swold at the beginning of the 11th century. There are rumours that he survived the battle, which are unlikely.
