Lamia is a creature of magic, created by fusing a girl and a snake together.
History
In a war with the ancient king, the high priestess, created the lamia by hybreding a the blood of a snake, with a girl, creating a firsom and powerful moster, however the creatured proved to be to dangerous, as it continued to kill, and the highpriestess lost control of it.
Centuries later, slave traders caught her, and were transporting her to be sold, however her influence over them was to great, and fights started, fearing she had enchanted them, they tried to kill her, however her powers were to great, and she killed them all, except one.
She went to the villiange of Longstrong, and began preying on its inhabitants, causing three of them to come down, with what appeared to be an illness, the wife of the villiages elder went to camolot and told arthur of what happened, so he sent his knights and Merlin, as well as Gwen who knew the couple.
She was later caught by bandits, and 'rescued' by the knights of camolot, as well as Merlin and Gwen, however she soon started to exert her power over them, making them agressive and more violent, her first victim among them, was Sir Elyan.
She then forced them to travel to a castle, where she disappeared, afterwards she started preying on them, one by one, first Gwaine, then Percival, Leon who spotted this, and relised the truth, attacked, but her powers were to great and she defeated him.
Merlin took her on, and was able to wound her, however reviealing her true form she attacked, Merlin ran and made it back to Gwen befor the creature managed to catch him, together with the combined effots of Gwen, Merlin, and Arthur (who had been following there trail) they managed to kill it.
Personallity
Bred to kill, the Lamia, was sadistic, it seemed to take enjoyment in killing, and forcing other to fight, it showed no mercy to any man.
Despite this it was capable of putting on a beliveable performance, as a scared, or even tramatised girl, to gain sympathy, and lure its prey into the trap.
Abilities
Created by the highpriestess, the Lamia was a powerfull creature, she was able to control men's minds, and influnce them, making friends more and more agressive, to the point of attacking each other, the only man she couldn't control was merlin, and this was down to his own powers, its unknown if she could control women as well, but she never showed this ability, so its likely she can't.
She was also able to drain the life force out of a person with a kiss, the person would almost instanly collapse, and they would then slowly die, her power was so great, that Merlin was unable to cure them, even with all his power.
As well as her influnce, she could practise great offensive magic, able to telekinetically beat a person to ground, and send a man flying through the air, she did all this nonverbally. Its also shown that she could sense Merlins magic, much like Merlin could with the cup of life.
It could also take the form of a young girl, in its true form however it was a giant, many tenticaled, snake like creature, it also possed incredible strength, capable of knocking through a pile of bolders, and great durabillity, able to live through a sword, hiting it directly in the chest, however it could still be killed.
