- “I recognised your work. Your healing magic was always equal to none.”
- — Gaius to Alice about her potion[src]
Healing Potions are medicinal potions that require the use of healing spells or other forms of healing magic.
History[]
Nimueh had enchanted the Mortaeus Flower she'd used to poison Merlin, which resulted in Gaius being forced to use magic while preparing the antidote (The Poisoned Chalice).
Alice used a powerful healing potion to cure Evoric's fatal illness. The potion had the appearance of blue dust, sparkling with magical power. Combined with the power of a Sorcerer's Chime, its effects were strong enough to save Evoric's life (Love in the Time of Dragons).
Merlin used a powerful healing potion concocted by Gwillem of Cambria to heal Uther's mortal wound. He gave Uther four drops of the potion (any more could have been dangerous), then burned a branch of sage and waved it over Uther's body while incanting a healing spell.
Unfortunately, though the spell was initially successful, it backfired because of the cursed pendant Agravaine had placed around Uther's neck and killed him instead (The Wicked Day).
