- “Gelda Seward? Mother of Tyr Seward?”
- — Leon to Gelda[src]
Gelda Seward was the mother of Tyr Seward and a resident of the city of Camelot's Lower Town.
Biography[]
When Prince Arthur's saddle was tampered with as part of an assassination attempt, Gelda's son, Tyr, was suspected of being involved. Leon and Percival searched Gelda's home for evidence and Percival found a spool of red thread that matched the thread used to restitch Arthur's girth.
Tyr was convicted of treason and sentenced to death. However, he was murdered in his cell by Guinevere, who had been threatening Gelda's life to keep Tyr from naming her as Arthur's potential assassin (A Lesson in Vengeance).
