The Forest of Ascetir is a forest located on the border of Camelot and Cenred's Kingdom. It is infested with Serkets and bandits and is a well-known refuge for Druid clans.
History[]
When Morgana's magic began to manifest itself, Merlin advised her to seek advice from the Druids in the Forest of Ascetir. She was attacked by Serkets along the way, injuring her leg, but was soon rescued by the Aglain and reunited with Mordred. Merlin later tried to warn her when Arthur and the Knights of Camelot entered the forest to rescue her from the Druids, who Uther believed had kidnapped her (The Nightmare Begins).
Merlin and Arthur were riding through the forest when they were captured by the slave trader Jarl. Merlin later returned to the forest to hide the sword Excalibur in a stone (The Coming of Arthur).
When Agravaine and his men attacked Ealdor, Merlin, Arthur, and their allies escaped through some mountain tunnels and sought refuge in the Forest of Ascetir. They were later reunited with other surviving knights and townspeople, who witnessed Arthur pull Excalibur from the stone (The Sword in the Stone).
