Hunith's House is a house owned by Hunith in the village of Ealdor. It is the former home of Balinor and the childhood home of Merlin.
History[]
Balinor lived with Hunith after his people were killed during the Great Purge and eventually fell in love with her. However, Balinor was forced to flee when Uther learned of his whereabouts and sent men to capture him. His relationship with Hunith later resulted in the birth of their son, Merlin (The Last Dragonlord).
Hunith's house was Merlin's childhood home. He was relatively happy there, but found it difficult to hide his magic and grew up feeling like an outsider. Hunith eventually became concerned by how at odds Merlin was with their fellow villagers and decided to send him to live with her friend Gaius in Camelot (The Dragon's Call).
Merlin later returned home to help defend Ealdor from bandits. He was accompanied by Arthur, Morgana, and Gwen, who also stayed at Hunith's house (The Moment of Truth).
Merlin and Arthur sought refuge in Ealdor after the Second Fall of Camelot. Hunith took them and their allies into her home, giving them a place to rest and treat their wounds. Merlin and Arthur were also reunited with Gwen, who was trying to start a new life in Ealdor after being exiled from Camelot. She later fled with their group after Agravaine tracked them down and attacked the village (The Sword in the Stone).

Trivia[]
- After returning to Ealdor after the Second Fall of Camelot, Merlin appears unsurprised to find Gwen there. This may suggest that he sent her to live with Hunith after their reunion in the woods (The Hunter's Heart, The Sword in the Stone).
