Adrian Lester played the assasin Myror, in the episode The Once and Future Queen of the BBC drama series, Merlin (2008-2012).

He graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Lester is known in the United Kingdom for playing big time con-artist Mickey Stone in the first three series of Hustle (2004-2012) between 2004–2006. In late 2005, Lester had a major guest starring role in Channel 4's police drama show The Ghost Squad, playing D.I. Gus Philips. Lester filmed scenes for Spider-Man 3 (2007) in which he played research scientist Dr. Derek C. Wallace, who sought after the film's main antagonist the Sandman (Thomas Haden Church) to find a cure for his unwell daughter. He was seen in a teaser trailer but his scenes were omitted from the final theatrical version. In 2008, Adrian starred in the BBC drama Bonekickers (2008), which was about a team of archaeologists. He returned as Mickey Bricks in Hustle in 2008.

In 2010, he played Brick in Tennessee Williams' play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Novello Theatre in London. He also appeared in the documentary When Romeo Met Juliet along with his wife, as mentors to the pupils of two Conventry schools that had a part in the Romeo and Juliet production.
