There is a way to heal my father. With magic.
Arthur to Merlin[src]

Healing Spells are spells used to heal and cure illnesses, injuries, and poisonings. They require powerful magic and can be very taxing on the sorcerer casting them.

Though most healing spells are effective on their own, some are used to enhance the effects of potions, herbs, poultices, and other non-magical remedies.

History

Merlin heals Tom with an enchanted poultice.

When Tom fell victim to the plague that had stricken Camelot, Merlin used an enchanted poultice to cure him (The Mark of Nimueh).

Gaius enchanted a potion to cure Merlin after Nimueh poisoned him with an enchanted Mortaeus Flower (The Poisoned Chalice).

After Edwin convinced Uther that Morgana's coma was the result of a cerebral hemorrhage, he claimed to have used Elanthia Beetles to repair the damage to her brain (A Remedy to Cure All Ills).

When Arthur was bitten by the Questing Beast, Merlin tried using two healing spells to cure him. However, both spells failed because the Beast's venom could only be counteracted by the power of the Old Religion (Le Morte d'Arthur).

Morgause gave Morgana an enchanted healing bracelet to help with her nightmares. Morgana later told Alator that its healing powers were without equal in the Five Kingdoms (The Sins of the Father, The Secret Sharer).

Balinor used a powerful healing spell to cure Arthur's infected shoulder wound. He applied a thick green paste to the wound, then held his hand over Arthur and incanted a spell (The Last Dragonlord).

After rescuing Merlin from a nest of Serkets, Kilgharrah used his magic to heal him from their venom (The Tears of Uther Pendragon).

When Arthur was struck in the back by an arrow, Merlin tried two different spells to heal him, but both failed. Fortunately, Taliesin was able to heal Arthur with a spell that reduced the wound to a slight bruise (The Crystal Cave).

The Druids used a healing spell in combination with water from the Cup of Life to heal Sir Leon, whose patrol had been attacked by Cenred's men (The Coming of Arthur).
