The Dungeon (also called Jail) is a prison located beneath the citadel of Camelot. It is where people are held as punishment for a crime they have committed, or while they await trial or execution.

- The dungeons appear to be located directly above the Dragon's Cave (The Dragon's Call).
- Percival is the only Knight of the Round Table who was never arrested or held prisoner in the dungeons.
- Merlin has been arrested six times, the most of any character in the series (The Dragon's Call, The Curse of Cornelius Sigan, The Witchfinder, Goblin's Gold, A Lesson in Vengeance).
- One of these times was as Dragoon the Great (Queen of Hearts).
