The duel between Emrys and Morgana occurred when Merlin (who was disguised with an ageing spell) broke into Morgana's Hovel and stole the Fomorroh that was controlling his mind.
Events
When Morgana found Merlin (disguised with an ageing spell) searching her hovel for the Fomorroh, she tried to attack him with a dagger, but he used his magic to toss her backwards into a shelf.
Merlin took the jar containing the Fomorroh and ran from the hovel while she was down, but Morgana quickly recovered and chased him outside. Morgana cast a stunning spell that knocked Merlin off of his feet, then ran forward to finish him off with her dagger. However, Merlin recovered from the blow and used his magic to send her flying.
Merlin struggled to his feet and prepared to finish her off, but Morgana distracted him by trying to convince him that she would bring back magic once she had taken back the throne of Camelot. While he listened to her pleas, Morgana magically raised her dagger and attempted to stab him in the back. He dodged the strike, but Morgana quickly sat up and sent him flying with another stunning spell.
Morgana seized the jar containing the Fomorroh and began to walk away. However, Merlin got his feet while her back was turned and summoned a powerful whirlwind. When Morgana saw what he was doing, she attempted to use her magic to counter his spell, but Merlin's magic proved stronger than hers and he forced the whirlwind towards her. The wind lifted her off the ground and sent her flying, knocking her unconscious (A Servant of Two Masters).
