Devlin was a sorcerer and a shopkeeper before he was killed by Knight Valiant after selling him a Serpent Shield.
Biography
The snakes on the shield Devlin gave Valiant were able to come alive and do anything Knight Valiant commanded them to. He was killed by these snakes at Valiant's orders right after he gave him the shield, so that he couldn't breathe a word of this deed to anyone (Valiant).
