Asgerd is a thief who knew the whereabouts of Balinor. He frequents a tavern in the village of Engerd.
Biography[]
When Merlin and Arthur traveled to Engerd in search of Balinor, Asgerd was in the tavern where they offered money for information. Later that night, Asgerd snuck into their room to steal the money, but was caught red-handed by Arthur.
With Arthur holding him at knifepoint, Asgerd revealed that Balinor lived in a cave at the foot of the Feorre Mountains. He also warned them that Balinor would not welcome them, as he hated everyone and everything. Arthur was satisfied with Asgerd's answer and released him (The Last Dragonlord).
Trivia[]
- When Arthur caught him stealing, Asgerd pleaded for his life to be spared because he had children to feed. It is unknown whether or not this is true (The Last Dragonlord).
- Evan made the same plea when Arthur caught him stealing in The Labyrinth of Gedref.
