Amata is a kingdom in Albion once ruled by the feared King Sarrum.
History[]
Sarrum held both Morgana and Aithusa prisoner in Amata for two years after the Second Fall of Camelot. They eventually escaped and sought refuge in Ismere (Arthur's Bane, The Hollow Queen).
Though Arthur disagreed with Sarrum's regime, rumours of Morgana's capture eventually led him to pursue an alliance with Amata. Arthur invited Sarrum to Camelot and they drew up a treaty, but Sarrum was assassinated before he could sign it (The Hollow Queen).

- It is unknown who succeeded Sarrum as King of Amata (The Hollow Queen).
- From the way that Amatan culture was described, it is very similar to the Ancient Greek city-state Sparta.
