Albion is a landmass that constitutes the island currently known as Great Britain.
There are several countries and kingdoms within Albion with several different rulers. These include Uther Pendragon, King of Camelot; Lord Bayard, King of Mercia; and Cenred, King of Escetia.
It is unknown what views other countries in Albion maintain in regards to magic, but at the time that Merlin first arrived in Camelot, sorcery had been outlawed in Camelot under penalty of death for twenty years. According to The Great Dragon, it is the destiny of Merlin and Prince Arthur Pendragon to unite to kingdoms of Albion under one High-King – Arthur himself. At this time, magic will be able to coexist with the "New Religion."
