Albin was a warrior and assassin in the army of Amata. He was Sarrum's best fighter until he was killed by Merlin while attempting to assassinate Arthur Pendragon.
Biography[]
When Camelot sought an alliance with Sarrum of Amata, Albin was among the men who accompanied Sarrum to the citadel. He defeated Arthur in a practice duel, and was later chosen by Sarrum to assassinate the young king.
The assassination was to take place during the treaty signing. When Sarrum and Arthur met at the Round Table, Albin snuck onto the balcony and aimed a crossbow at Arthur. However, Merlin and Daegal intervened and drew Albin's fire. Merlin deflected the arrows with magic, after which Albin switched to throwing daggers, causing them to dive for cover. Albin took aim at Arthur again, but Merlin used his magic to throw a spear at him while he was distracted, killing Albin and diverting his shot to hit Sarrum instead (The Hollow Queen).
Abilities[]
Albin was a lethal, highly skilled warrior. He was trained by Sarrum himself and was the best fighter under his command. He was a particularly proficient swordsman, as evidenced by the fact that he was the one of the few people ever to defeat Arthur in combat. Arthur himself even stated that he had never met anyone who matched Albin's skill in swordplay.
In addition to his skill with a sword, Albin was proficient in the use of both crossbows and throwing daggers, the latter of which he used to kill Daegal (The Hollow Queen).
